Sangeet Saagar 2018
Sangeet Saagar is a premier South Asian A Cappella Competition on the East Coast hosting 6 teams from across the nation, hosted by Delta Sigma Iota Fraternity, Inc. It is named an official bid competition, where the first place team gets an automatic bid to the national championship, All American Awaaz.
Sangeet Saagar has been established as a charitable event where all proceeds go to a charity of choice each year. In 2018, all proceeds were donated to Association for India’s Development (AID). AID is a volunteer movement promoting sustainable, equitable, and just development. AID supports grassroots organizations in India and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihoods, natural resources including land, water and energy, agriculture, health, women’s empowerment, and social justice.
